Mini-post for updates and Wordle
First, thank you all for the amazing comments you’ve left about my WIP teaser trailer.
I worked hard on it last week and it’s good to know it was noticed. I suggest you all do a video. It’s great fun and truly worth the effort, in my opinion.
I have finished 95% of the updates I had planned for my site. You can see what I did visually a few posts down. As far as content, I re-did my About Me info and filled in the Writing tab. You’ll see links to my two main WIP novels. I even put up writing samples from both! *gasp and cringe*
Oh, and that ugly rollover pink color? Yep, it has been replaced by a less offensive green. That change made my night, you have no idea.
If you haven’t checked those updates since… oh, 5 a.m. this morning… then go for it! I was still changing things until that point.
Also, I did a Wordle for my current WIP. You know, where you paste in text and it creates a picture representing the most used words within that text? (The larger the word, the more used it happened to be.) I pasted my entire WIP. Oh, boy.
Oh. My. Gosh. It’s crazy to see the words that I use FAR too much.
Ctrl F is my friend. I suggest you all make Wordle and Ctrl F your friend.
Seek and destroy, people. Seek and destroy…

Very nice. And I like the writing samples too.

That’s really interesting!!!! I wouldn’t have guessed Hugh would have been one!!!! Evan totally makes sense, but that many uses of Hugh surprises me! That’s a pretty cool tool!

Chris- Thank you! I’m nervous about the samples just cause it’s hard to put my stuff out there, but… has to be done eventually, I guess.
Eisley and Sylvie- Glad you liked it! And yeah, Sylvie, I thought Hugh was a bit strange, too.

[Thanks for linking me! If I could manage to force my current theme on my blog to let me put a blogroll up, your blog would be on it!]
I’d never seen these Wordle things until this week. They’re fascinating…
